Berry Crumble Recipe

  • Prep Time: 1 hour
  • Servings: fills one large baking dish

Ingredients

Crumble
200g oats
100g ground almonds
40g pumpkin seeds
80g crushed walnuts
1 tsp dried vanilla
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cardamom
1 pinch of salt
4 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp maple syrup

Berry filling
250g blueberries
200g mixed berries
juice of 1 lemon
1-2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C / 355°F.
  2. Wash the berries and put them into a large bowl, adding lemon juice and maple syrup. Gently toss them around with your hands until the juices are spread evenly. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, add all the dry crumble ingredients, giving them a little whisk before adding coconut oil and maple syrup. Use your hands to combine everything.
  4. Sprinkle the crumble over the berries and let everything bake in the oven for about 40 to 50 minutes. The berry crumble is done when the crust is dark brown and the berry juices are bubbling up.

Welcome to my kitchen, my colourful world of nourishing foods. Here I choose to live healthy, eating whole, plant-based foods; a happy mix of vegetables, legumes, fruits, whole grains, nuts and seeds.

I am Pauline, a food lover and photographer from Berlin.

My recipes are simple, vegetarian dishes with plant-based and natural ingredients only. Perfect for everyday life. You do not have to be a skilled cook to have a balanced and healthy diet – I am not! An open mind and willingness to try out something new everyday shall be enough. It’s an infinite journey, and I am happy about everyone who decides to come along.
