Chocolate Mousse
Desserts can be a bit tricky. I find it quite challenging to make a dessert that most people will like. It shouldn’t be too sweet but still have intensive flavour.
This chocolate mousse has become my number one choice of dessert. It’s thrown together super quickly, only needs a handful of ingredients – and everyone loves it!
When all bowls are scraped empty I let my friends guess what the mousse is made of. They will usually guess the bananas, the cacao powder, and maybe the dates, but never the secret ingredient – avocado! In combination with banana the avocado gives the mousse a super smooth consistency, adds healthy fats, and balances out the sweetness of the dish. If you have never tried using avocado in a dessert, I certainly encourage you to do it!
