Green Summer Smoothie
I have tried hard and long to think of anything food-related to say about this green smoothie. All I can come up with, is that it’s just really really good and that it makes the perfect summer drink.
My life has been turned upside down these past couple weeks. In between finishing my studies and starting a new job, I have now moved into my very first apartment. A little space just for myself, where I don’t have to feel bad for occupying the kitchen for too long or for making too big of a mess every once in a while. It’s been an exciting experience so far, but very tiring, since over the last two years my kitchen equipment has multiplied from nothing to a zillion boxes. All difficulties aside, it’s done now, and I am almost settled into my new space. I don’t have a kitchen or shelves yet, but I’m completely thrilled!
Green Summer Smoothie Recipe

1-2 stalks of celery
2 handful baby spinach (or any other green leaves)
1 mango
1 banana
1 apple
juice of ½ lemon

- A tip for extra warm summer days: Blend some ice cubes with the other ingredients. It’ll make the smoothie colder and more refreshing!
